libecm0-dev software package provides factor integers using the Elliptic Curve Method -- libdev, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libecm0-dev
libecm0-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libecm0-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libecm0-dev *
You will get with libecm0-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
